This unit (VST-V4) is the most inviting eliptical weve ever tried. You will get your workout but you'll will actually enjoy it! The ease of use is amazing. During the program when ever the change of intensity occurs, the machine gently moves you into the next segment with a smooth transition. The quiet operation of the elptical is a real plus, no noisy sounds, we have ours in the family room and can watch TV or play the radio and be aware of the rest of the familys activities as well. We bought the machine to replace our Sole E35. This machine was the best home elliptical we could find for under 2000.00. Our Sole elliptical was noisy, the flywheel frequently required maintenance, and constant cleaning of the track and rollers were essential. The Sole was not enjoyable to use or maintain during the 5 years we had it.

We were able to try the Lifecore prior to buying as a high end store in our area had one on the showroom floor. The difference was astonishing even in the showroom. As a very experienced elliptical user I can say that the V4 is simple and comfortable to use. The only maintenance I have performed on the machine is to tighten stews and bolts every 20 or so hours of operation. I also wipe it down after use. This machine is used by 4 people in our home at least 3 days a week each. It is also much more compact than our Sole so it fits in the corner of the living room. Most guests look at the machine and ask where we were able to buy a gym quality elliptical. I just cannot say one bad thing about the unit.

i was in the market for an elliptical trainer after trying one at a friend's house. i was impressed with the selection of lifecore ellipticals here so i this is where i made my purchase. i hate running on treadmills and the weather here is just not conducive of running outdoors (i like my ac), so this was the next best option. its actually the best option! my back has never felt better to be honest and im in the best shape of my life. the only problem is that the rhythm takes a little getting used to but other than that im very happy with my purchase.
