CUSTOMER QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Is the movement of the stacks as smooth as a cross cable in a gym?
Yes. The only disadvantage is that the weight stacks go in increments of 10 lbs and not 5, as many cross cable machines have. It’s a very nice machine.

Does the base need to be screwed in? It looks like it would topple over when performing cable fly's.
The unit does not have to be bolted to the floor however, due to our litigious society it is highly advised that all equipment get secured to the floor. There have been recent law suits on equipment manufacturers that most are now suggesting it. The unit has several hundred pounds weighing it down low so as long as people are using it for the intended purposes it would not topple over.

Can one person move this after being setup? I need to set this up temporarily while the floor is being done, then move it about 5 feet.
I suppose someone really strong could grab one end and rotate really hard… it’s 671 lbs, each side about 310, and 40 in the middle. But, it wouldn’t be easy

The stack pulley is supported by 2 cables. Is this a 2:1 mechanical advantage? 160 pound stack = 80 pounds of actual weight resistance?
I know this cannot be 1:1. Each plate is 15lbs. The pulley system makes it feel like your adding 10lbs at a time. I’m able to lat pull the whole 235lb stack and I only weight 160lbs. How can that be a true 1:1. I might have gained a little weight around Christmas but this is probably around a 3:2 mechanical advantage. Better buy the 235lb stack or you could be disappointing.

Can you buy and add extra weight stacks to the 160 lbs that comes with the system?
Yes this is available with a 235 lb weight stack. The 235 lb weight stack uses 15 lb plates and the 165 lb stack uses 10 lb plates. If you have the 165 lb weight stack you’ll have to replace entire weight stack.

What are the increments of the weights on the stack for both the 160 and 235 machines
On the 235 it goes from 10 to 25 then in 15 pound increments from there. I don’t know about the other one.

Does this one come with a pullup/ chinup bar on the cross beam?
No the cross bar has no other pullup or else. But you can do it yourself. I put a yoga fabric trapeze and it is perfect. The whole equipment heavy duty & cross bar is very strong. Hope it helps.

What is the width pulley to pulley? I want a full stretch, but the machine is just a bit wide for my space. I may need to shorten the cross bar.
With pulleys facing each other its just a bit over 100 inches maybe 1/2 inch over 100 inches. Awesome machine btw
