About
Whether gym members are male or female makes no difference, most people are after toned and strong looking arms. Not everyone enjoys or feels comfortable using free weights like dumbbells, kettlebells, or barbells to train the arms, and that’s where state of the art machinery like the Body Solid Biceps & Triceps Machine | GCBT380 model.
For men, it’s about sporting bigger arms with increased muscular endurance and overall strength. They want the peaks on both the front and back of the arm, which is important, because the brunt of lean mass on the arms is carried in the triceps. For women it’s much the same thing, except they place more important on the triceps.
The convenience of having both exercises in one machine is huge, and most people choose to work their biceps and triceps together. So it makes sense, and when done safely, this dual-function machine gets results quickly.
Proper Posture and Ergonomic Design
The intelligent design of this model makes it incredibly easy to both raise and lower the padded adjustable seat for proper posture and kinetic alignment. If the upper body is too high, the leverage is compromised on the muscles, if the body is too low, there is too much leverage and the challenge drastically diminishes.
The feet should be squarely placed on the ground for stability, the arms shoulder width apart, and the elbows should touch down on the pad below the shoulder line. Furthermore, the back should be straight not curved, and the eyes directed forward. The Body Solid Biceps & Triceps Machine | GCBT380 was engineered to make all this effortless, and easy on users, whether they’re going light, or really heavy.
Particular Body-Solid Specifications
The lack of machine-like moving parts, and the reliance on natural free weight plates, means it feels more natural and puts increased strain and tension on muscle tissue. The specifics for this product are geared towards comfort, reliability, and lifelong usage with minimal to zero calls for maintenance.
From the ultra-thick DuraFirm padded upholstery, to the 30 degree angle and precise biomechanical movement, everything is about producing progressive fitness results. The high-end structural integrity comes from the steel blends, which are a smart combination of 2’’ x 2’’ and 2’’ and 4’’.
Home & Commercial Gym Use
The Body Solid Biceps & Triceps Machine | GCBT380 is perfectly suited for both the commercial and home gym environment. It’s not only compact, light weight, and easy t move, but it also comes with a lifetime warranty, which is a pretty big deal and comes rarely.
Whether it’s a part of the free weight or machine room, or sits calmly in the home office or garage area, it will stay clean, look sharp, and perform as expected for generations. It’s two exercise machines in one, for the price of one, with a lifetime warranty from a world renown fitness equipment name – what’s not to love?

CUSTOMER QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
I am a woman, so I will not be lifting a great deal of weight. What is the MINIMUM weight you can lift on the bicep and the tricep exercise on this?
That’s the beauty of this machine, you don’t have to add any weight if you don’t want to. You can completely control the amount you want to put on, depending largely on what your goal with the exercise is.

"Great machine!! Body solid has done it again. Super happy with this purchase. Solid as a rock and great quality for the investment. Packaging sucked on this one also... (l also have the peck deck and love it too). I just finished my first complete workout and hit both biceps and triceps. It took me a minute to get the seat height just right but the range of motion is great for both exercises. I am 6'3" and the fit is great. I love the way it targets the muscle! Highly Recommend!"

"I needed something extra to train my 'weakpoint' which are my arms, so i purchased this bicep/tricep machine. It's a GREAT addition to my homegym, doesnt take up much space, and the tricep function is also great. I've had it for 2 months now, and the results are clearly visible. 'arm day' is now my favourite training day of the week, I always look forward to it."

"This machine is extremely easy to use and can accommodate a lot of weight on the plate arm for the serious lifter. It is also nice because you have two machines in one (bicep and triceps). You can use different hand positions on the well-designed handles to do hammer-curl like lifts for biceps, which is quite nice. The bicep workout is quite good on this machine if you couple it with incline dumbbell curls with free weights because the incline curls give you max resistance at the bottom of your lift and this machine gives you max resistance at the top, so you get a remarkable burn and nice results doing the two. I am less impressed by the triceps feature if you are a serious lifter, but it does a good job with range of motion minimizing tendon pain / damage compared to many gym machines I have tried, so it is a good fit for people wanting to tone and minimize injury for triceps. Just one warning, be sure you try it with very light weights at first, especially for the triceps exercise, because it is possible to adjust the dial in a way that could cause injury if you do not test it first to check your range of motion; you don't want the weighted bar falling on your arms after you do a lift. If you just do the test first, it is wonderful and safe :) It is also quite affordable and not too bad to put together."
