"I've had dozens of plates racks or weight trees over the years by various brands. I've had the straight, vertical kind, the most common triangle style, bumper plate or flat styles and two versions of this style - the tripod style for lack of a better word. This is the most sturdy one I've hand, hands down. This is also made with the best metals, hands down. The fit and finish is top notch. The metal feels like either 11 gauge or heavier. People can't seem to grasp that bumper plates are different and don't work to well on normal plate racks like this. You can put them on where the 45's would go and that's it. If you have bumpers (I do), get a flat stand. This easily fits my complete iron weight set plus an extra pair of 45's and 2.5lb plates. I've still got plenty of room to spare. Plus, it takes up very little room. All this, at under $60 is really an incredible deal. Kudos to Body Solid on this home run of a product."
